The Process
Initial contact – is with a phone call to explain in a little more detail about my role as a celebrant and the services that I can offer you. I can answer any questions you may have. I can also check my diary to ensure that I am available. It’s important to choose a celebrant that you are comfortable with and one you think you can work alongside. Hopefully, our initial contact will give you a sense of who I am and help you to decide if I am the right celebrant for you.
Information - if you think that I am the right celebrant for you. I will send you some information that will hopefully help you to think about your ceremony. I will also send a booking form and a contract for my services. This explains how I work and what you can expect from me as your celebrant.
Let’s meet - we will arrange a mutually convenient time and place to meet up so that we can get to know each other a little better. This meeting can take 2-3 hours or more and we can explore your ideas and discuss your vision for your ceremony. Don’t panic if you are unable to meet in person as we can arrange to meet on line.
Ceremony script creation – following our meeting, upon return I will begin to create your personalised ceremony based on our discussions. At all times during the creation of the ceremony I will remain in contact with you via phone, email or virtual meetings. I will send you draft copies of the ceremony script for your consideration and approval…I’m sure you’ll want to know exactly what I am going to say! We will work together on the draft, editing and redrafting until it is exactly how you want it to be.
Shall we have a practice – if you would like to have a wedding rehearsal, we can arrange for this to take place at a convenient time during the week before your special day.
Delivery of your ceremony – on the day I will arrive at your chosen venue in plenty of time to greet guests, liaise with any suppliers, mingle and ensure that all is how it should be…resulting in a stress free, seamless and enjoyed by all ceremony.
Commemorative Certificate – I provide a commemorative certificate especially for the occasion. Which is signed as part of the ceremony, or not…it is up to you. It is presented in a box for you to keep. Don’t panic, if you are not sure that this is for you …it is totally optional!
Presentation Script – I provide the you with a Presentation Script of the occasion as a keepsake. Once again, just let me know if this is not for you…it is totally optional.
Afterwards – with your permission I usually contact you in the weeks following the ceremony to see how you are, how things went following the ceremony and to make sure you were happy with the services that I provided.
