Wedding Celebration Ceremony

Weddings traditionally have been carried out in a church, a Registry Office or a licensed premise such as a hotel; resulting in a very non-personal, inflexible or pre-set ceremony. 

As an Independent Celebrant I can help you to change tradition and create an occasion that is very special, personal, unique and tailor-made to fit your exact wishes. However, large or small, simple or complex, stylish or off the wall…the only limitations to your big day are those of your own imagination! 

Sadly, at this present time in the United Kingdom, I am unable to perform the legal aspect of your ceremony. Hopefully this will change in time, however, at present, you will need to complete the legal aspect of getting married i.e. the paperwork…at a Registry Office before your main Wedding Celebration can commence. It only needs to be a basic ceremony with two witnesses, if that is all you want. 

Once you have a date for the legal aspect of your marriage planned…organising your main Wedding Celebration can begin. There are no limits as to where, when or how you wish to celebrate your union. Perhaps a woodland, a field, your back garden, on a beach or a boat…where ever is special to you both. 

As an Independent Celebrant I can help you achieve your dream as I am not governed by the constraints of religion or local authority. By separating the legalities from the actual celebration means that your celebration can be as intimate or traditional as you wish. It can be inside, outside or themed. It can incorporate faiths, cultures, rituals or just be very simple affair. 

It is totally up to you…
